I was shocked to receive a call from my pri sch classmate today. He was asking if the gwp friends could meet up someday to have a celebration for the May babies. I was quite excited to meet them again, having those feeling of meeting lao peng yous. We got to know one another 8yrs ago..
I was a petite girl with specs, short hair, carrying an oversized bag with books on hand then. Moving on, I became a metal-teethed girl, having all hair clipped up and tied nicely, culottes over knee with high socks. As for now... should know how I look like uh. That’s just the appearance.. My perspective of life changed a lot as well. I was really foolish and did things that harmed myself, just to ease the stress. It’s nothing compared to O’levels and tertiary education.
I realised I’d changed so much in these years unknowingly..
Though I would still take snapshots with my all time fav- twist. Haha!

F.r.i.e.n.d.s.
I had met quite a number of good friends in my 10yrs of school-ing.
In gwp, I had a very close friend. At that time, we had this trend of writing bio-data. It includes our particulars, favourites, friends and normally ends with a few poems. I felt appreciated when I saw my name written in the best friend category. However, after PSLE, we went into different secondary and we lost contact gradually. We met a few times though, but it’s no longer the same.
In wrs, I had a group of good friends, girls in the same class for 4yrs.. We did have fun together, and some really helped me alot in my academics. After O’s, we went on separate ways to pursue our dream and slowly, we are no longer that close.
Is it we ourselves that changed or is it due to the environment that caused us to change?
If that's true friendship, shouldn't it be able to sail through the storms?
"Friends Forever" is commonly used..
I'm quite sensitive to the word- FOREVER.
Mean what you say as it might affect the other party.
[words are cheap, actions are deep]
